U.S. Department of Energy National Energy Technology Laboratory Sources Sought 89243326NFE000256 Critical Minerals and Advanced Alloys Center of Excellence ISSUE DATE: 21 August 2026 The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of providing a highly specialized, laboratory-to-pilot scale High Pressure Grinding Roll (HPGR) instrument to process, comminute, and perform size reduction of various research materials at the Albany, Oregon site to support mission-critical materials programs. The requirements/specifications of the system are outlined in Attachment A to this Sources Sought. All responses shall include a detailed description of how the proposed solution meets the requirements described in this Sources Sought notice and Attachment A to this Sources Sought.
