The purpose of this contract is to replace 73,400 SF of roofing membrane and insulation over the original PR Hospital Building. The roof over the original hospital building is past its expected life. Substantial patching has occurred within the last 5 years to address numerous leaks throughout the facility. Pine Ridge receives severe hail and windstorms frequently which have also contributed to the degradation of the existing membrane roof. Saturation of the insulation has also been identified, and severe pooling of water indicates drainage issues. This project will be procured as a 100% Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside solicitation under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. SITE VISIT: See Section L.6.
