• The Department of Transportation is seeking to awarded a scheduled certificated airline contracts for over 17,000 domestic/international airport or city pairs.
• All Federal Agencies require approval from the DOD as well as Federal Aviation Administration certification before awarding such contracts.
• To be awarded this type of contract, carriers must also either participate in the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) program or receive a Letter of CRAF Technical Ineligibility.
